How to Prep for Your First Brazilian Wax in Kissimmee

First-time waxing nerves are completely normal — and almost always bigger than the appointment itself. A little preparation makes your first Brazilian smoother, faster, and far more comfortable. Here's everything we wish every new client knew before walking in.

Grow it out (a little)

Hair needs to be about a quarter-inch long — roughly two to three weeks of growth — so the wax can grip it. If you've been shaving, skip the razor for a couple of weeks before your visit. Too short and the wax can't lift the hair; that's the most common reason a first wax feels less effective than it should.

Time it around your cycle

Skin is more sensitive in the days right before and during your period. If you can, book for the week after — you'll likely find the whole experience more comfortable.

Day-of comfort tips

  • Gently exfoliate the day before (not the day of) to free any trapped hairs
  • Skip caffeine right before, which can heighten sensitivity
  • Wear loose, breathable clothing for the trip home
  • Arrive freshly showered — clean skin is comfortable skin

Judgment-free, always

Every waxing service is performed by a licensed esthetician in a private setting, fully customizable to your comfort level — for women, men, and teens. First-time clients are welcome to ask about a complimentary patch test if you have sensitive skin.

Aftercare and a bonus

Avoid heat, friction, and heavy sweating for 24 hours, and keep the area moisturized to prevent ingrowns. If you want to take it further, our two-in-one body treatments pair a wax with a soothing vajacial to calm skin and refine tone in a single visit.
